1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ScreenSort ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of ScreenSort ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all versions of the App available on the Apple App Store.

2. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use ScreenSort on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not include the right to:

3. Subscriptions & Billing

ScreenSort offers the following purchase options through the Apple App Store:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused periods.

All billing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free version of ScreenSort provides up to 20 searches per day. This limit resets daily at midnight (local device time). Free tier users have access to core categorization features without search restrictions.

We reserve the right to modify free tier limitations at any time with reasonable notice. Changes will be communicated through App Store release notes or in-app notifications.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ScreenSort only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

6. Intellectual Property

ScreenSort and all content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your content (screenshots and images in your photo library) remains yours. By granting photo library access, you grant us a limited license solely to perform the local on-device processing necessary to provide the App's features. We claim no ownership over your content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScreenSort is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ScreenSort at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease. All locally stored data (search index, preferences) remains on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
