Q: How do I start using SnoreLens?

A: It's very simple!

  • 1️⃣ Open the app and tap the large circular button to start monitoring
  • 2️⃣ Place your phone on the nightstand with the microphone facing you
  • 3️⃣ After falling asleep, the app will automatically detect and record snoring
  • 4️⃣ In the morning, tap the button to stop monitoring and view detailed reports

Q: Does the app require internet connection?

A: No! SnoreLens uses a completely local AI model for analysis and works without an internet connection. iCloud sync is optional and requires network access.

Q: Are audio recordings uploaded?

A: Absolutely not! All audio recordings are stored only on your local device and are never uploaded to any server. Only sleep statistics (like snoring count and duration) are synced via iCloud.

Q: Why are recordings automatically deleted?

A: To save your device storage space, audio files are automatically deleted after 2 days. Sleep analysis data is retained, and you can view historical records at any time.

Q: How do I disable iCloud sync?

A: Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → SnoreLens and toggle it off. When disabled, data is only saved locally on your device.

Q: Does the app consume a lot of battery?

A: We've optimized battery usage. We recommend connecting your phone to a charger during sleep to ensure uninterrupted monitoring throughout the night.
